What can you expect from Topfatbikes?
You can view, compare, and test bicycles with us in Winschoten. We will help you with your choice and remain available even after your purchase. For maintenance and repairs, you can visit our service partners located throughout the Netherlands.
What requirements must my fatbike meet for use on public roads?
In the Netherlands, the following rules apply to the use of a fatbike on public roads: the bike may not exceed 25 km/h and the motor may have a maximum power of 250W. A fatbike with a throttle (that goes faster than 6 km/h) is not permitted on public roads. At Topfatbikes.nl, we supply fatbikes without a throttle as standard.
What about the warranty?
You receive a 2-year warranty on the frame. A 1-year warranty applies to moving parts and the battery. View our warranty policy for coverage and terms.
How do I arrange a return?
Would you like to return your purchase? On our returns page, you can read how to arrange this, what the time frame is, and how to pack the bicycle properly. You will also find information there regarding return costs.
Which bike fits my budget?
The price depends on the model, the battery, and the version. In our collections, you can filter by price and compare bikes. When making your choice, also consider any accessories and your preferred delivery option.
Can I insure my bicycle?
That is possible. The coverage and terms and conditions differ per insurer and bicycle. For example, pay attention to the requirements for the lock and any GPS security. Please contact us if you would like help with applying for insurance.
Can I pick up my bike from you?
Yes, you can pick up your bike at our shop in Winschoten. Send us a WhatsApp message in advance, and we will coordinate the pickup time with you.
Can I choose between delivery in a box or ready-to-ride?
For bikes with these delivery options, you make your choice on the product page. You will also see the corresponding price there. Not sure which option is best for you? Feel free to ask us for an explanation before you order.
Do you help with tuning an e-bike?
No, we do not offer support for modifying fatbikes. We are, however, happy to help you with questions regarding normal use, maintenance, and the settings of your bike.
