Choosing a child seat for a fatbike or e-bike

Cycling together starts with a seat that is suitable for both your child and your bike. At Topfatbikes, you will find Qibbel Air front and rear seats, the Qibbel Junior 6+, and windshield accessories, among others. Check the mounting method and terms of use for each product.

Front seat or rear seat?

The right choice depends on the seat's requirements and the bike's capabilities. Check the manufacturer's specified limits for your child's age, weight, and development. Next, check whether the handlebar or carrier attachment is suitable. An available mounting spot does not automatically mean that the entire combination is supported.

Check the bike, carrier, and mounting

Check the permitted load for the bike, carrier, and seat. Verify which mounting hardware is required and whether it is included. Follow the assembly instructions and have the setup checked if you are in doubt. Also pay attention to footrests, wheel protection, and the rider’s freedom of movement.

Windshield and matching accessories

Does every Qibbel seat fit every fatbike?

Is the name Junior 6+ enough to determine if the seat is suitable?
